My heart is so saddened by the loss of your precious son, brother and friend, Ben ... As a parent, the loss of a child is excruciating beyond words... For I, too, have known that loss... When my son was killed on 9/11, he left a precious gift to me ... My beloved dachshund, Sadie ... And you, now have beautiful Carmel ... All of who Ben is , is in that sweet precious girl ... She will comfort you through the hard times for they are yet to come ... But her spirit and her love for life is there to comfort you until the time that. You will smile at the wonderful times you shared with Ben ... It takes time, but it will happen ...Hugs to all of you and Carmen ... She is you light to guide on the path to recovery! Our thoughts are with you!
