Bhupendra Mahida Obituary
West Chester - Dr. Bhupendra Mahida passed away on November 25, 2018 at the age of 69, he is survived by his loving wife Meena; his children Doctors Justin & Christopher (Michelle) Mahida; his granddaughter Mia Catherine, his sister Premila and brothers Shirish & Dr. Prakash Mahida, the son of the late Haribhai & Devyapriti and was brother to the late Harendra. Bhupendra received his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and completed his training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He served the community of Butler County for 27 years as a Kidney Specialist and as founder of Nephrology Associates of Southwestern Ohio. He was an active member of the Dayspring Church in Forest Park for many years. Visitation to be held 9am - 12pm on Saturday, December 1st with service at 12pm at Dayspring Church, 1060 Smiley Avenue, Forest Park, OH; with committal at Oak Hill Cemetery. Contributions can be made in Bhupendra's honor to the Glioblastoma Foundation at www.glioblastomafoundation.org. Online condolences at www.springgrove.org.

Sending prayers to the family. Dr Mahida was my mom's (Gloria Baker) doctor, he was the most caring doctor, never rushing us and making sure mom and I both understood things for her care. He was full of compassion and love, he shined!!! We will miss him and will never find another doctor like him.

Dr. Mahida was my late husband's Dr for several years during his years on dialysis. Dr. Mahida was a very kind..compassionate man and cared deeply for his patients. He will always be fondly remembered by us all. God Bless you and your family now and in the days to come.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Dr. Mahida in 2014 when he started treating me for Stage 3 CKD. He was the most wonderful, caring, genuine and funniest physician that I have ever known. He will be so very greatly missed by any and all that he ever knew or treated. I truly loved his care and concern for me, as his patient. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Meena, Justin & Christopher,
Words fail to express our sincere sadness hearing of the loss of your husband and father, our Dr Mahida.
It just seems like it was yesterday when we met at Mercy Hamilton and began the process of establishing your new life here in SW Ohio. Over the years we have come to admire and love Dr Mahida and you as well Meena.
We are so sorry for your loss and extended our most heartfelt condolences. We will be out of town otherwise we would be at the services on Saturday.
