I am very saddened to learn about the passing of Bloom. She taught my children piano for several years. From her, my kids learned to read music, play the piano, and developed love for music that is still with them after all these years. After we moved away, I sent her Christmas cards for several years, but they came back undelivered. From time to time, I tried to locate her. Wish I had been able to tell her how much she meant to our family. RIP, Bloom! You will be remembered.

Dear Jon and Jason,
I was so sorry to hear about Bloom's passing. I wish I had known about it so that I could attend her service. My association with Bloom began in 1961 at C-CM. We were both members of SAI, a music fraternity. I was in her wedding to Bill and over the years had remained in touch until recently. She was such a lovely friend. I miss her already. My love to you both.

My condolences to Bloom's orphaned family. I regret not having stayed in touch over the years.

I also was in her mother's 6th-7th grade class at Tiffin Twp. School and enjoyed classes and activities with Bloom at Defiance High School.

My daughter took piano lessons from Mrs Lippmann before she was ready, but enjoyed it enough that she majored briefly in piano at SCPA - unfortunately not with Bloom.

Thoughts of Bloom bring warm feelings of love tinged with regret. Farewell, old friend.

I write this with a heavy heart as Bloom and I went to school from elementary school through high school. We ran around with the same group in high school and attended the same church. We teased the heck out of Bloom and she was always a great sport - and my, oh, my, what a talent! Just know that your mom was a wonderful classmate and friend.

So sorry to hear of Bloom's passing. I graduated with Bloom, and we would walk home from school together sometimes. She lived on Perry and I lived on Harrison, so we were close. I remember going to her home. She was such a sweetheart!
Rest in Peace!

Bloom was one of the first girls to welcome me and be my good friend as I was new to Slocum School, in the fifth, and sixth grades! We were young girls, trying to find our place in life, rather insecure, but we always shared and had fun together. We both played classical music on the piano, but she loved it - I only learned it! I treasure the memories of 2 young girls with so much to learn and live, about life! I always picture her with that smile, and long barrel type curls, all the way down to her waist, and such fair skin! I'm so sorry to hear she has passed on - God be with her family!

Mrs. Lippmann taught me piano for a time at SCPA. She was one of the sweetest spirits I've ever met. Praying that God grants you warm memories of your mom to comfort you in your loss.

To Bloom's Family and the many others who loved her:

Bloom's mother was my 6th/7th grade teacher 60 plus years ago at Tiffin Twp. School in Defiance County, and Bloom was a dear classmate at Defiance High School from which we graduated in 1961. I remember playing trumpet in the pit band when she and ( now Fr.) Harry Restrick had the song-dance leads in Noel Coward's "The Red Peppers." What fun! I fondly recall her great smile, her wit, her red hair--and her talent. May she rest in peace.

Dear Jonathan and Jason,
May your mother's love and knowledge of the piano and music continue to live in you. She spoke so highly of you!
I remember Bloom as my younger talented cousin who won a full scholarship to the conservatory. Her picture was in The Defiance Crecsent News and very impressuve.
I am the middle daughter of Margaret's sister, Dorothy. We would walk or ride our bikes to visit Bloom. Very nice memories!
May God bless you and your families at time of your mother's passing.
Fondly,
Cousin Diana from Connecticut
