Brian Applegate Obituary
Brian David "Sparky" Applegate, age 51, of Walton, died Monday, February 20, 2012, in Union, Kentucky. He was an Engineer for General Electric, an U.S. Air Force Veteran, and a member of Christ's Chapel Church in Erlanger. Brian enjoyed farming, raising a garden, being outdoors, playing hockey, playing his guitar, and sculpting. His father, Frank Everet Applegate preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Kathern Sue Vicars; mother, Myrtle Nina Applegate; son, Frank (Jaela) Applegate; sisters, Linda Dallalio and Karen Seymour; and two grandsons. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Christ's Chapel, 3819 Turfway Road Erlanger, KY 41018. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Baltimore Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH. Memorials may be made to Christ's Chapel or the Lindner Center of Hope, 4075 Old Western Row Rd., Mason, OH 45040. Words can't express what a great person and friend Brian was, everyone's life he touched was blessed. Brian always made had a story or a joke to share that seems to brighten a day, his kindness for others will not be forgotten. Brian touch more lives than we will ever know, he was a true friend to many. I am truly sorry for Brian's wife, mother, son and family and friends loss; I will keep you thoughts and prayer.
