Christopher Kropp Obituary

KROPP

Christopher Learner passed away at his home in Cincinnati on Saturday, March 19, 2016. He would have been 47 on April 12, 2016. His top priority in life was his children. He was an amazing dad. He should be remembered for his quick smile and outgoing personality, his genuine kind-hearted spirit that he shared with everyone, and his deep love and affection for his family, and his loyalty to friends. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. Many business contacts became quick friends during his career as a sales account executive in the media business. He is survived by his sons, Henry Whitney Kropp and John Howard Kropp, his parents, John and Mary ("Terry") Kropp, his brother, John Jeffrey Kropp (Jill Harris) and his grandmother, Mrs. C. L. ("Molly") Harrison III of Northport, his niece, Sky, and nephew, Cash, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. If so desired, memorials may be made to The Kelly O'Leary Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, P.O. Box 5202, Cincinnati, OH 45201-5202 or Indian Hills Public School Foundation, 6855 Drake Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243.

I was Christopher´s babysitter many years ago. Chris and Jeff were my favorite people. John and Terry were amazing parents. I have the fondest memories of them. Sitting for them when they were young, going on a family vacation in Michigan and kicking Chris and Jeff out of Kenwood movie theater when I caught them sneaking in a PG13 movie while I was working there. May their family be comforted by wonderful memories of him. All my love to the Krupp family.

This news was a shock and a heartbreak to us all. Chris will always be missed here at his Midwestern Broadcasting family. Word has just come to Petoskey, Michigan, of Chris' passing. We knew Chris through playing platform tennis on Friday afternoons during the winter months at the Bay Harbor courts in our town for the past 10 years. Chris was a wonderful friend, we always looked forward to him being on the courts with us as he was so fun, so lovely, so competitive. He talked about his sons and shared pictures. He made all of our lives brighter for those few hours we spent with him weekly. We will miss his energy, spirit, and kindness, and that jolly smile he always sported. RIP Chris, know we love you and will cherish your memory always.

Chris was such a great person to have in the office at WTCM, always upbeat and unfailingly polite. We shared a birthday (25 years apart) and teased each other about wearing white turtlenecks so often. He loved his sons so much, and my heart breaks at the pain he must have endured. He is safe in God's arms now, but we will miss him.
