He was as steady and as loyal a friend as my father ever had. They started out as business associates and remained that for the rest of my father's life, but they remained that in the way that friends remain friends, not the way business associates continue on. My memories of him go back to when I was a child going with my father to the openings of new branch banks. With all of the nonsense trying to tear our country apart, I think it remains as strong as it is because there are enough people like Clifford Coors who are steady and reliable and can be counted on to do the right thing no matter what everyone else is doing. He will be missed.

I was saddened to hear of Mr. Coors passing.
He was a very dear friend and business associate of my parents, the late Mary Ann and Tom O'Shea.
My sister and I remember him at many parties at our home. Such a lovely and fun man. Even though he was no relation we felt comfortable calling him Uncle Cliff.
We will always have fond memories of those times.
