The Zimmerman Family,
We are all so saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Connie, and heartbroken for her family. We were Hunting Creek neighbors, and when the kids were little, my kids Ashley and Michael played with Krys and Nick. I remember going to the cookie exchanges Connie had for the neighbors at Christmastime. Everyone knew how much she loved her kids and her family, and how strong her faith was. It's been years since I've seen Connie, but when I did run into her, she always had a smile. I've always included her in my prayers throughout her illness, and I thought she had it beat. She's been through so much, but now she can be at peace with no more more pain. I hope you can lean on your faith and family to help get you through the difficult days ahead. Connie will be missed by many.
Love,
April Agler and Family

I had the great pleasure of working with Connie for many years at Life Management Systems EAP (later known as HealthSpan EAP). I will never forget many things about her. Chief among them would be her sense of humor, energy, reliability, and her ever present love for her children and grandchildren. Connie was always someone to jump in and assist one of her co-workers with anything. She projected a positive attitude, even in the face of adversity, and made the workplace a better place in so many ways than it would ever have been without her. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing and my thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family.

Connie was such a special person. Always had a smile and a hello for anyone. I knew her from work and like Cindy stated her little Lucy just made her smile like sunshine. I know she is relieved from all her pain just as time will ease your pain through the light of God. My thoughts and prayers are with all family and friends.

12 And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow.

Connie and I worked together for several years. I am greatly saddened by her death. She was loved by so many and touched so many lives, including mine.
When I had serious health issues 9 years ago she drove me to the hospital because I refused to let her call an ambulance (we were at work). She didn't want me waiting in the waiting room in the ER any longer, since I was in so much pain and she went to the ER desk and told them they needed to see me right away because I was having chest pains. Not true, no chest pain, but I sure was having severe pain. My issue was life threatening, unbeknown to me or Connie at the time, but she acted as my advocate and I was and will be forever grateful for her concern for me.
I loved working with Connie. She was so dedicated to those she loved, especially those grandkids and she often shared her love of her parents, and her children, as well as her siblings. Connie and I texted a few weeks ago and she sent me pictures of her beloved dog Lucy. She told me she would never let a dog sleep in her bed and I got such a kick out of teasing her about how she got seduced by Lucy and had to eat those words. I am so glad she received such pleasure from that little dog, as well as her devoted family who where forever by her side.
I will always put my lighted Christmas Glass Block out that she made me one year for the holidays and think of Connie and her generosity. I will miss you Connie my dear friend and co-worker.
My heart is broken!
