Dan A. Bricker Sr, 83, of Mason, Ohio passed away peacefully at Cincinnati Hospice of Blue Ash on October 26, 2016. He was born to Daniel Arthur Bricker and Ruth Elizabeth (Smith) Bricker on January 17, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio. On October 14, 1961, he married Barbara Louise Golden. Barbara and Dan recently celebrated their 55th year of marriage. Dan began his career as an apprentice at Cincinnati Milacron where he worked for over 35 years as a systems analyist. Later, Dan was employed by Spring Grove Cemetery for over 16 years, serving the community as a Family Service Advisor, retiring in 2008. He loved history, enjoyed reading, participating in his condo association where he served on the board. Dan had the distinct honor of being a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was also an active member of several Masonic organizations, and served on the Shiners Burn Hospital board for many years. Dan is survived by his loving wife Barbara Bricker, daughters, Susan Louise (Don) Puterbaugh and Laura Elizabeth (Greg) Adams, 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Arlon Bricker. A memorial service for Dan will be held on November 12, 2016 from 11:00 to 12:00 pm when services will begin in the Blue Spruce Chapel at Gwen Mooney Funeral Home at Spring Grove Cemetery. Internment will be held after the services at the Garden Mausoleum. Memorial donations in Dan's name may be left to Shiners Hospital or the Masonic Learning Center.
