Darrell Wayne "Doc" Rodgers, who hosted WLW-AM's "Extra Innings" show and previously worked as an Assistant General Manager for the Cincinnati Reds, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 52. Visitation is TODAY from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at

Doc served on the board of Winners Walk Tall with me. What a great guy and an even greater attitude. He would call me a few times a year to stay in touch. My condolence to his family. He will be missed.

RIP Doc. In the face of adversity, you fought it head on. Your battle was fought with strength, courage and dignity. Doc was a very soft spoken, very caring for his kids and loved life. He wil be missed. I am praying for the family. Know that he is in a better place and is resting. God bless!
