Denis SNIDER Obituary
Denis James Snider, 83, of Elsmere died Tuesday St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. He was a retired Construction Superintendent for Messer Construction Co.; a U.S. Army veteran having served in Korea; a member of the Carpenters Union and the American Legion. Mr. Snider loved all sports and was a former coach of the S&H Green Stamps Knothole Team who won the 1956 Nationals. He is survived by his wife, Edna "Eddie" Chapman Snider of Elsmere; son, Terrence (Terri) Snider of Cincinnati, daughters, Denise (David) Mayhaus and Susan (Mike) Kuhr both of Cincinnati; stepson, Tim (Sherri) Hale of New York; brothers, Thomas and Jerry Snider, both of Batavia; sisters, Vera Mae and Judy Snider both of Owensville, OH.; grandchildren, Luke (Dacia) Snider, Leah (EJ) Engelkamp, Cassie (Matt) Hertke, Jeffrey, Paul and Maggie Kuhr, Eric (Christine) Mayhaus, Emily Mayhaus, Zachary and Mason Hale and 4 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his friend and father in law Edward Chapman of Elsmere. Visitation 10 to 11 am Saturday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am.
