Donald Bloss Obituary

BLOSS

Donald R., Mediator, Special Master, Facilitator and Attorney at Law passed away peacefully at the age of 67 at his home in Los Angeles on 11/21/15, after a long battle with kidney cancer. Donald was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to California after he graduated from the University of Illinois with an engineering degree. In 1971, Donald became a California Civil Engineer. In 1977, he was admitted to practice law in California. Don had extensive experience mediating and litigating claims involving business and commercial, employment, construction and construction defect, contract, insurance, personal injury, real estate, product, premises, professional liability and other issues, including numerous multi-party and other complex matters. Friends and family members will remember Don's interest in and talents with music and photography, and his ability to make others laugh. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Wendy Wong, son Eric, brother Richard, sister-in-law Susan, niece Lindsay and nephew Carl. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Jeanne Bloss, of Cincinnati. No services will be held. The family would appreciate donations be made to the City of Hope Kidney Cancer Research at (800) 683-HOPE. Please send all condolences to Wendy Wong, P. O. Box 3055, South Pasadena, CA 91031.
