Don was my best friend growing up. We shared dreams and hiked all over the countryside together. He was always there as a friend. Don's House was behind my farm and there was a well worn path between the two homes. Don was best man at my wedding and I will always cherish the times we had together. The earth is a better place because Don walked here. My heart goes out to all of Don's Family and to all the friends we shared. Jim Amon, Dayton, Ohio; Class of 61.

Don was a second dad to me and was a great mentor and friend. We had a lot of great memories and times together. My closet is filled with bearcat red and black because of Murph. Don was as real as a person gets and had one of best characters of any person I have met. Mine and Lori's thoughts and prayers are with you.
