Dora ERNST

ERNST Dora Ann Ernst, age 76, of Dillsboro, IN, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008 at Deaconess Hospital. She attended Ohio State Univ. and later returned to graduate from the Univ. of Cinti. with a teaching degree. She taught grades K-2 for 18 years at Oak Hills School District. In 1954 she married Richard Ernst, who survives. Dora was an active member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Dillsboro, serving on Session for 12 years and as Clerk for 6 years. Surviving is her husband, Richard; 2 daughters, Debra Tullius of Cincinnati, and Dori Martz of Dillsboro; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers, 3 sisters. A private family service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Dillsboro. Visitation following service at Filter-DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Memorials to her church.
