EXCELL WALKER Obituary
Excell Jr., Loving Husband of Lola Walker, Cherished Father of Dorthee Muller (Michael), Kristina Walker, and Excell Walker III, Beloved Son of Elizabeth Walker, Dear Brother of Ada Drummonds, Lorraine Artis (William), Nancy Walker, Ronald Walker Sr. (Song), Jean Walker, Gerald Walker, and Geraldine Walker-DuBois, Adored Grandfather of Jaylinn and DeShawn Horton and Michael Jr., and Joshua Muller. Mr. Walker, a Cincinnati Police officer until recently retiring in April as a Detective in Cincinnati's District 4 region passed away July 19, 2012 at age 57. Visitation will take place Friday, July 27, 2012 at 6pm until 8pm. Visitation will continue Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 10am-12pm, Funeral Service at 12:30pm at Church of the Resurrection (1691 California Ave. 45237). Interment will immediately follow Funeral Service at Spring Grove Cemetery. Mr. Walker is preceded in death by his father, Excell Walker Sr. Final Arrangements have been entrusted to Gwen Mooney Funeral Home.

Excell was at our wedding 22 years ago. He & I worked at P&G during those early years when he lived in Bond Hill. Our shock at finding him gone - you always believe there is time to "catch" up with a long ago friend - not so. We remember when his kids were young. We are truly sorry that time is now past to reminisce with him.
