"My deepest sympathies to Jackie, Duane, Delana and Deanna. George was a great man and a dedicated husband, father and public servant! I am so glad that I got to know him why working for him and with his lovely wife Jackie in Lebanon. The Otterbein home loved him and so did everyone that worked for him! I loved the fact that George was approachable and never forgot a face or name.

Jackie, Delanna, and family... I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't personally know George, but remember him being around the daycare and the kids loved him. I wanted you to know that I am praying for your family to find peace and comfort.

My deepest sympathies. George was a great man and a dedicated public servant. I am so glad that I got to know him during my time as a House staffer. I still have one of the stickers in the shape of a rose that he used to put on people's lapels to make them smile...

George was a wonderful person with a beautiful wife and three great kids. I babysit for his children from the time I was 9 years old all the way through high school. I still remember his mother and father's grocery store in Cozzadale and later the "Whippy Dip" in Maineville featuring the "Big T" and "Little D"! We bought his house on Stevens Road, where my children were raised. The Terwilleger's are a wonderful family and George (and Jackie) made a big impact on this community. He will be greatly missed by everyone. I can see him now making my mom and dad laugh in heaven!

Dearest Terwillger family,
I am so sorry to hear about George, he was the sunshine of everyone's day, and always made people happy,
Whenever I would see George in the doorway of the diner, I would always get a smile on my face, no matter what kind of day it was...I will always cherish the days we sat together drinking coffee and talking, he was so smart and witty...
Thanks for the memories George, and all the time you spent with me, and always making me feel like I was kind, I was smart and I was important.
Rest in peace now George, I will miss you, but never will I forget you.
God has you in his hands now....and you are well again...
All my prayers to your family,
Linda Jordan

I worked for George as his aide in the Ohio House, he was a great leader, and wonderful mentor and was in politics for the right reason. While many use the catch phrase work across the aisle , he didn't tout it, he just did what he thought was the right thing to do regardless of ones politics. Ill miss him, but still have that rose on my car from his campaign. Heaven is much more brighter. My condolences to Jackie and the Terwilleger family.
