Gordon MARR

MARR Gordon E., age 61 of Centerville, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2002. He attended Xavier University for his undergraduate and graduate studies where he was a member of ROTC. Gordon served as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S.Army. He was the president and owner of Gordon E. Marr Tax and Financial Services in Centerville. Gordon was a member of The Church of the Incarnation, American Legion and the Knights of Columbus where he served as treasurer. Preceded in death by his parents, James Joseph Marr and Mildred McDaniel Marr. Survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Rita Marr; three sons, Michael and his wife, Traci Marr of Cincinnati, Matthew and his wife, Kim Marr of Colorado Springs, CO and Christopher Marr of Chicago, IL; daughter, Kathryn and her husband, Andre' Walls of Cincinnati; grandson, Ryan Marr; brother, Dr. Joseph Marr and his wife, Martha Marr; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday in The Church of the Incanation, 55 Williamsburg Ln., Centerville. The family will greet friends from 5-8 P.M., Thursday in Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Cincinnati.
