Gregory Houston Obituary
Gregory Robert Houston "Greg", devoted husband of Jean (nee Gambrel-Idol). Loving father of Anthony Houston, Eric Houston, Donna Parker and the late Patricia "Patsy" Idol. Brother of Cynthia Houston. Preceded in death by parents Robert and Virginia (nee Schafer) Houston. Also survived by numerous family and friends. Greg, a resident of Union Township, passed away Tuesday September 27, 2016 at the age of 67. He worked over 38 years in the trucking industry, retired from USF Holland and served as Union Steward to the Local 100 Teamsters Union for 10 years. Visitation, E.C. Nurre Funeral Home 177 West Main St. (ST RT 125), Saturday October 1st, from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery of Union Township. Memorials may be made to Ambassador Freewill Baptist Church 776 Clough Pike Cincinnati, Ohio 45245.
