Your husband and father I never met but enjoyed his postings as a fan of the bearcats as he used to frequent our message board at Saint Louis University while the basketball season was going on when we used to play against the Bearcats--what a tremendous wit he had and I felt like I knew him well --My thought and prayers are with you on the loss of this wonderful man --

Words cannot express...but when you miss him the most, focus on the fact that he's jubilantly ahead of us!, where there's no past, present or future; where he's not confined by the limits of this temporal existence. The wait to be with him is hard. You're in our prayers.....

I was saddened to learn of Greg's death. While the years have long since passed when we used to cut through from Relleum to Cleves-Warsaw near the Ruehlmann's house, my family will never forget the kindness and generosity of the Ruehlmann family when I was severely injured in a car accident years ago. My parents were eternally grateful to Greg's family for their care and concern during a very traumatic time period. Many of my siblings attended grade school at St. Teresa of Avila grade school with Greg's own brothers and sisters; and there are no better families than the Ruehlmanns.
On behalf of the entire Donovan family, please accept my condolences. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

I just heard this terrible news! My thoughts & prayers go out to all of his friends and family!
I have known Greg, mostly, in an on-line capacity in running the Memphis forums at cusa-talk and ncaabbs while he was head of the Cincinnati forums at both places. I had the pleasure of meeting him during the 2002 Conference USA Tournament.
Greg, you will be missed by more people around the country than you can possibly imagine!
God speed, good buddy!
