Irvin NIEMOELLER Obituary

NIEMOELLER Irvin R., 76 of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Irvin was born on December 4, 1927 in Cincinnati to the late Stanley E. and Bessie G. (Cook) Niemoller. He received his education from Walnut Hills High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. On October 14, 1950 he married Caroline H. Schmidt in Maysville, Kentucky. Irvin retired in 1996 as a Regulator from the State of Ohio and also was employed by various Savings and Loans for 40 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a member of Christ Lutheran of Cincinnati, the Ohio Genealogy Society, and Boy Scouts of American Troop #93. Irvin is survived by his wife of 53 years, Caroline H. Niemoeller; three sons, Mark Niemoeller and his wife Marilyn of Fort Wayne, Indiana, David Niemoeller of Hamilton and Kevin Niemoeller and his wife DeLisa of Hebron, Kentucky and four grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Thomas Keith Niemoeller and broter Stanley Charles Niemoeller. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, February 24, 2003 at the Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Ave. at South ""D' Street, with Pastor Andrew Norris and Pastor Derrick Hurst of Christ Lutheran of Cincinnati officiating. Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Family suggest contributions be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Cincinnati Center, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH. 45203.
