John Rees, 81, of Longboat Key, FL and Cincinnati, OH, passed March 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Carolyn LaBar (nee Bomkamp); father of Sue (Steve) Rohde, Mike (Kim), Meg (John) Frede, John, Dan (Kim), Ann (David) Hall, Kate (Jeff) Smith, Lisa (Kevin) Prows; step-father of Tom (Kelly) Rudd, Sandy (Chris) Leary, Vicki (Bill) Sena, Teri (David) Tretter, and sister Lou (Andy) Thul. Loving grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Private services held by the family. Memorials to Hospice of Cinti. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home and Crematory serving the family.

Mr Labar Was A PRESTIGIOUS GENTLEMEN. After returning home I was he's care gaver in his home it was my pleasure to help in his needs while he was treated. His Family was AMAZING.
