THOMPSON . John M. beloved husband of Florence E. Thompson (nee Wood) devoted father of Linda L. (Danny) Platt, Kim A. (Peter) Salit and John F. (Pam) Thompson, dear grandfather of Michelle S. and Michael D. (Marji) Platt and Nathan J. Thompson, brother of the late Jim and Janet Thompson, also survived by nieces and nephews, Oct .31, 2006, age 87 years. Born Aug. 14, 1919 in Mt.Carmel, IN., residence Mt. Washington. John was a P.O.W. in Staleg Luft III for over 13 months in WW II and a 25 year employee of State Chemical Co. After retirement he worked at Glenview Golf Course. Graveside service at Mt.
