Joseph Allen, beloved brother of Nancy Jones, dear uncle of Tammy (Kerry) Quatman and Rob (Candice) Held, great uncle of Joe, Samantha, Nick, Peyton, Brody and Macy, longtime companion and friend of Pat Yust. Died, Sunday, July 24, 2016 age 65. Visitation in St. Martin of Tours Church, Friday, 9:30 AM until the funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to St. Martin of Tours Church, 3720 St. Martin Place, Cheviot (45211). Arrangements entrusted to Rebold, Rosenacker & Sexton Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared with the family and donations completed online at www.rebold.com

I worked with "Skip" for almost 10 years at Wagner Repro and I can honestly tell you that I NEVER once seen this man in a bad mood!! He was truly one of the kindest and good hearted people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing!! Rest In Peace Skip!!!

I remember seeing Mr. Zahn at Walmart. He was always very pleasant, and wore a bright smile, which I will remember him for. Walmart has lost a great employee, but Heaven has gained an angel.

Joe, what a friendly guy. Always was so sweet to my 2 year old Mason! Mason always got excited to visit walmart because he knew Joe would be there to greet him and ask him about his day. The last time we saw Joe he chatted with Mason about a train game my son was playing on my phone at the time. He told Mason he thought he was smart for playing the game on the phone. That he thought trains were nice too! We said goodbye and that we would see him later. Joe said by Mason my friend! We will always remember Joe and his kindness! Praying for his family!

We were shocked and so saddened to hear the news as we came in WalMart today. Joe left a wonderful mark on the world in a small way. It was a big way to us. We looked forward to saying hi to him whenever we came to WalMart. He always made us smile. He was so genuine and grateful, simply to be acknowledged by others. If only more people could be like him. We will miss Joe! God bless his family.

I worked with Joe we called him Skip at Arrow Blue and Engraf. He was the nicest person. he loved the Reds and the Bengals. I want to a few sporting events with him. I used to bring him my left overs for lunch. He loved my meatloaf. He would always say to Chuck I'll buy you a pizza for Ethel's meatloaf. Every year he would send me a birthday card and Christmas card and sign it your friend Skip. Love you Skip prayers to your family Heaven has gained another beautiful angel.

As others have said, Mr. Zahn was a kind, courteous, and friendly man. He did his job with enthusiasm and he did it well! I will miss being greeted by him. My sympathy to his family and co-workers. He will be missed.

My husband and daughter (who is 5) shop regularly at Joe's Walmart. When we came in he always said "Hi Maci" and her "Hi Joe", and they would converse. They were both always happy to see each other and talk about whatever was going on. So while you are looking thru the pictures on his cell phone, and you come across a little red head, that's his friend Maci!
She will be so sad to hear of his passing, as anyone who knows him will be.
He was a wonderful, caring, kind man and we will truly miss him. RIP JOE WE LOVE YOU!!!

Joe made me smile! No matter how stressed out or mad I was as the time it all went away when I heard Joe say "hi, welcome to Walmart". The world lost one of the sweetest souls! He was an amazing man and my family will miss him dearly.

My family and I shop at the Colerain Wal-Mart 2 or 3 times a week. My 11 year old referrs to Joe as "our favorite door greeter" I would always tell my husband that's my buddy. He loved to talk weather and would always ask how I was doing. Our hearts are sad but we know heaven has gained a true Angel. Rest in paradise Joe you will be truly missed. I hope you will there to welcome us all into the gates of heaven.

As said by many Joe bought a special kind of feeling to the role of a greeter he never changed how he put the excitment into his welcomes and thank you, even when he wasn't feeling his best.
Joe you will never be forgotten because you remain in the hearts of many. I feel Blessed to have known you .

I didn't know Joe personally, but I can say seeing him when I walked into his place of employment made me smile. He was so sweet and lived to smile. When I saw this today, my eyes teared up a bit. It amazing that a man I didn't know could move me with his passing. The world could use more Joe Zahns . May god be with his family at this difficult time. Thanks Joe!

Joe was always so kind. He made it a point to speak to each and every customer that came through the doors. I didn't have rhe pleaseure to work with him but my mother and siblings did and they told me just how truly sweet of a person he was to each of them. You will be missed by so many people joe. If you would tell me that there existed a genuinely nicer man than Joseph A. Zahn, I wouldn't believe you. Everytime walking into that store he made my family and I smile and even made us want to stop and talk some more. A friendly face, a friendly voice and an upbeat attitude never seemed to leave him. Going to that store will never be the same. Prayers to the family and friends of Joseph in this time of grief.
