Joyce Ann (nee Goldzwig) age 85, died Friday, September 26, 2014. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, grew up in Miamisburg and was the daughter of Saul and Rose Goldzwig. Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Philip I. Teman and loving mother of Scott Grund, Charles Grund, Honi (Neil) Cohen, Susan Hargis, and Cecilee (Paul) Harper. She was the cherished grandmother of Chase (Christie) Grund, Tyler (Alicia) Grund, Brian (Maggie) Cohen, Jill Cohen, Jennifer (Nick) Booe, Molly Harper, Bren Harper, John Harper, Chloe Grund and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marlene Silverman , and nieces, Lisa (Steve) Rosenberg, and Shelly (Scott) Rabin. Joyce began her many careers as an Administrative Assistant in Franklin, Ohio, then became a Teacher's Aide at McKinley Middle School in Middletown, Ohio. She then opened "A Touch of Green", her adored plant and gift shop, but had to close it to care for her elderly parents. When she returned to work, Joyce entered the cosmetics/fragrance industry and held positions at Elder-Beerman and Dillards, eventually earning The Fragrance Foundation's prestigious title of Certified Fragrance Sales Specialist. Joyce never really retired, continuing to work for various companies part-time. She was also very involved with her children and grandchildren's lives and would gladly help at a moment's notice. Joyce will be remembered for her love of her pets (above all her beloved Westie, Chip), gardening, reading, playing piano, music (especially classical and Barbra Streisand), and cooking (her brisket was legendary and "Blintz Bubble Ring", a little slice of heaven). She was the consummate caregiver and would always know when to bring a delicious pot of chicken matzo ball soup to help with a speedy recovery! Joyce will be missed every day. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be given to Animal Friends Humane Society or the charity of your choice. My heart aches with knowing you have left us, Joyce. I send my love to the family as they say goodbye.
In the backyard at the house on Kensington.... Joyce was probably already getting cookies and milk ready for us when we went inside.

I have many, many fond memories of growing up with Joyce as our Cub Scout den mother, as always having good snacks available when I was over to play, and as simply always being energetic and quick to smile and laugh. Zichrono l'vracha, may her memory be a blessing always !
