Dear Jeff and family, we are so sad about Karen’s passing. It can be said that she lived her life to the fullest and was loved by so many. One of the blessings of having many children is that you can see characteristics of Karen in each of them; in a smile, a turn of a phrase, a mischievous look, beautiful sparkly eyes!
Be at peace.

Karen was a ray of sunshine. She engaged totally in life wherever she found it. In a conversation, she made you feel as though her whole focus was on the you, and the rest of the world could wait - a rare gift. I knew her as someone without pretense. When we were selling our house, Karen shared the sage advice of stashing kids’ toys in the washer and dryer (and in a pinch, the freezer) during pop-up showings. She had an innate joy and sense of delight in the world, which was infectious.
My heart goes out to her family, which was the center of her world. I am so, so sorry for your loss. My love and prayers are with you all.
