I strongly encouraged Ken to try out for cheerleading at OSU. I went to his dorm at Baker Hall and taped the announcent of the upcoming try outs on his door. He went and I was there when he was picked. We lost touch. I'm sorry he is gone.

I just learned of Ken's death. My condolences to the entire family.
I haven't seen or heard of him for over 30 years. But I remember a guy walking to Westwood school in Lima Ohio carrying books and telling me about each assignment. He was always reading interesting paperbacks. He had an energy in his step way back then. I remember him diligently doing homework after school but always preceeded by 100 push ups and 100 situps. I remember his bedroom was spotless and bed always made. I remember him single handedly without being asked clearing the table and doing dishes after a Thanksgiving meal for about 15 people.
From the guest book it's obvious he became quite a man in adult life.
I'm sure you have wonderful memories of him. Write them down.
I imagine he is reading more books and doing exercises in heaven.
Peace be with you.

Ken and I were close when we were in law school as we were teammates, with Barb Howard, on the UC Law School National Moot Court team. With Ken's leadership we finished third in the nation.
What I remember most is not the long hours of researching, writing, and practice--I remember Ken's common sense approach to the analysis and, most importantly, his ability to laugh, and to make others laugh, when the pressure was on.
I have not seen Ken often over the thirty plus years since then but I always felt as if I needed anything all I had to do was to reach out to Kenny and he would take care of it.
A wonderful man.

Ken was my cheerleading partner at Ohio State. He was always a good friend and gentleman. I looked forward to seeing he and Betsy at the alunmi reunion each year and was so excited that his son Michael was following in his footsteps. I am so saddened by this news but feel so fortunate that I knew Ken. He was a good person who I will never forget. My deepest sympathies to you Betsy, Elizabeth, Kathryn and Michael. I pray for strength for all of you during this most difficult time.

We joined PRPC when newly married and luckily met Ken and Betsy as some of our 1st "couple friends". We shared so many phases of life- pregnancy, politics, children, Youth Church and trips, school activities, and Girl Scouts among many great memories. Ken guided us in so many ways, both personally and professionally. We mourn, with so many others, but remember him as such a blessing in our lives. Betsy, Elizabeth, Kathryn and Michael- you have been constantly in our thoughts and we pray that you can find peace and healing as you reflect on just how much you were loved.

ken and I played football together growing up in Lima, Ohio. Later, Ken and I became room mates at OSU, he was the hardest working student I ever knew. We had a lot of good memories and fun together, I will always remember the laughing. See you later, Buddy.

Ken was a good buddy growing up in Lima, Ohio. We shared many good times and adventures in junior high and high school. Ken was always athletic, I remember he was a diver on the Lima Senior High swim team. As a cheerleader at OSU he visited me at Northwestern when the Buckeyes were in town. We worked together in my dad's business for a couple of summers back in Lima. I remember one year he got me and family members tickets to the Rose Bowl to watch the Buckeyes play in Pasadena. I regret that we had not had contact since as adults but that is on me. I thought about him over the years, I am proud for what he accomplished in his career and family, and am heartened to know that he had a wonderful life. My feelings go out to his family. Rest in peace buddy.

Ken was a valued Board Member of G.L.A.D. House, Inc. His compassion for the children we serve was evident in his service work as he volunteered to take on additonal duties to help the organization. He celebrated with the families when their children graduated from high school and was a kind and gentle man. Our hearts go out to his family and close friends. Adrienne Cenci ( Cincinnati, Ohio)

Ken left this amazing legacy, named Elizabeth, Kathryn and Michael, the world is a better place for him having been in it. I can't imagine our neighborhood without him...treasured friend, admired husband and father, a man of tremendous intelligence and wit, warmth and depth of caring. In my mind's eye I will always see him smiling, and the thought of him will always bring a smile to my face. He will never be forgotten by our whole family. We love you, Jamesons, you are in our hearts always.

Buckeye Buddy, you are already dearly missed. A great friend and accomplished attorney you made us all proud to be close to you. I will miss your "how sweet it is" following another triumph over the team from "up north."
Your legacy is your loving wife, Betsy and your outstanding children, Elizabeth, Kathryn, and Michael aka Curly and your many friends--all of us better people for having the pleasure of calling you our friend.
You will never be forgotten and tears will be in our eyes thinking of you every time we hear Carmen Ohio.

We are so very sorry to hear about ken’s passing. As a client of Ken’s for 13+ years I can say that he was kind, thoughtful, giving and understanding beyond that of the great professional that he was. He treated me as a friend and confident during my own illness. I was so happy to see Betsy and him at my one year post Chemo party at Mt. St Jo’s. Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.

Ken was my youth church advisor for 5 years. He was an important role model during those impressionable teenage years through his actions of love and commitment towards his family, community and faith. Those memories will allow his positive influence to live through us, and our actions, for the rest of our lives.

Ken was born one day before me in 52 and perhaps that is why we shared a natural kinship. He was my attorney and friend for the last 26 years and in all that time I always felt guided, protected and secure due to his unwavering demeanor, wise and calm strategic thinking and genuine concern for me and my family. He helped me navigate life in a way no other ever has. He was a man in full , as men could and should try to be. It is easy to say I loved him and will carry the gift of him with me all my days. Rest now in peace my friend

What a beautiful friend and mentor Ken was to my brother-in-law and his family. Just talking with Ken made you want to move to Cincinnati.
