SCHACHLEITER

Kenneth T. Beloved husband of Elaine Erdman Schachleiter. Dear brother of Carol (Raymond) Foley and the late Cathy (the late Thomas) Scalia. Son in law of Anna and the late Erhardt Erdman. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Passed away suddenly, Friday, October 24, 2014. Age 72 years.

Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Dry Ridge, Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the Hospice of Cincinnati.

God be with you, your mother, and the Schachleiter family. You will all continue in our thoughts and prayers. We have a constant reminder of Ken hanging over our fireplace, and he will continue to reside in our hearts. We enjoyed dinners at your house, had many good trips together, enjoyed you in our homes, cherished Ken's trip to David's wedding, and shall always remember our going away party. We cherish so many memories with you two, and they will remain precious to us. I wish we could be with you at this time to express our love, but due to health reasons, we can not be there. I knew Ken through our high school, undergraduate and law school years and during the time we were associated in the practice of law. He was a kind, compassionate, hard working and decent person. Time and distance separated by us since the mid- eighties; however, I thought of him during that time and regretted we did not catch up with each other. My mobility issues will prevent me from attending any services; however, he and Elaine will stay in my prayers.
