Kenneth Thiergartner Obituary
Kenneth G. Thiergartner, devoted husband of the late Marian Thiergartner (nee Jung) for 40 years. Loving father of Pam (John) Sexton, Jody (Dennis) Desserich, Jennifer (Endre) Pekarik, Kenneth (Teresa) and Jim (Donna Marie) Thiergartner. Cherished grandfather of John, Scott, Tanya, Joe, Keith, Jackie, Nicklas, Natasha, Shawna, Kelli, Kenny, Eric, Laura and Paul. Great-grandfather of 24 special great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Gilbert Thiergartner and beloved cousin of John "Jim" Boerger. He passed peacefully on April 20, 2016 at the age of 90. Family and friends are invited to a Visitation Saturday April 23, from 8:30 AM until 10 AM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45238, followed by a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence Church 3680 Warsaw Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45205. Great grandpa was a very happy man, nothing could get him down. We will always remember how he always had a smile on his face, his wonderful stories, his laugh, and just how being around him made you happy. Even though we can no longer see you, you are always in our hearts. There is no doubt that you are making the Angels feel the same way you made us feel, happy, loved, and overjoyed just by being with you. We love you and will miss you.

I carried mail with Kenny at the beginning of my career in 1980. He made us all laugh. And the one thing I always remembered about him, to this day, is how to spell his last name, because he would do that for us every morning at Western Hills Post Office.
