COMPTON Larry; Trusting servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, beloved husband and best friend of Adrienne "Andi' Compton, devoted and best daddy in the world to Rebecca (Michael) Kearns of Milford, OH, Nancy ""Beth' Compton of Tampa, FL and Jennifer (Brien) Miller of Blue Ash, OH, adoring grandpa of his four ""little men', Nathan, Matthew and Jacob Kearns and Ricky Miller, and his two ""little angels', Abigail and Allison Miller. Also survived by one brother Eddie Lee Compton of Cincinnati, OH, two sisters, Zelda Burke of Ashland, VA and Shirley (Ray) Richardson of Toledo, OH, many nieces and nephews and a host of caring friends. Preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister and one grandson. Faithful member of Groesbeck United Methodist Church and the Northern Lights Emmaus Community. Also a member of Mt. Healthy FOE #2193 and the Charles R. Gailey Post VFW. Resident of Colerain Township. Died April 17, 2003 at the age of 66 years. Funeral servie at 11 A.M. on Monday, April 21, 2003 at Groesbeck United Methodist Church, 8871 Colerain Ave., Cincinnati, OH. Friends may call at the church from 10 A.M. until time of service. Paul R. Young Funeral Home, Mt. Healthy serving the family. If desired, memorials may be sent to Groesbeck United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or to Hospice of Cincinnati, 10506 Montgomery Rd., Suite 304, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
