HARTMAN
Leonard G. Hartman, age 75 of Sunbury passed away March 13, 2014. Born in Elida, OH to John G & Orpha E (Miller) Hartman. He had 4 sister, Lela Lawrence (D), Joanne Miller (Howard), Wilma Slagel (Dec), Irma Roney(Dec). He was preceded in death by his wife Lois A Hartman (Denham-Harp). He served his country in the US Navy. Upon discharge he worked in law enforcement in the Lima area. He enjoyed a successful carrier in sales. After relocating to Cincinnati he worked & later retired from plant maintenance. He married twice, raising 9 children & 2 grandchildren. Michael Hartman(Dec), John G Hartman, Catrina Zanotto (John) Annette Brand (Jeffrey), Damon Harp ,Timothy Hartman, Roy Harp, Thomas Hartman, James Harp (Peggy), GC: Brian Harp, & Tasha Chamblin (James). He was blessed with 21 grandchildren, 18 great & 1 great great grandchildren. Numerous, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, in-laws and extended family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, bowling, bingo, cards, horseshoes and socializing. He loved his Bengals & Reds! Friends may call 6 to 8 PM Friday at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. Leonard, you were a great father n law, you always put people before yourself. I had so many great times with tru. From bingo to fixing you furnace on your house.. we had great times with you when you went to kings island with us, and tasha was so happy to celebrate your last thanksgiving with you.. Leonard (papaw) you ment the world to tasha and Anika... we will always have you in our hearts. Love ya!!!
