My son Louis Wabnitz is 15 and in the AFROTC. Working on his Eagle Scout project. A great kid. My dad was from Cincinnati. He was Edwin. And so was his dad. Proud to share the name with your Louis. Steve Wabnitz.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. Lou was always an upbeat guy. Great as a co-worker and as a coach on those softball teams.

Dear Mrs. Wabnitz, Joe and Randy,
I am so saddened to learn of Mr. Wabnitz's passing. My memories of him are so good. He was one-of-a kind!
Joe: We think of you and Terri often remembering the softball games of yore!
Randy: You are always in my thoughts.
Hugs to all of you - including the kids.
Sincerely,
Cathy Krumpelbeck (and Jim!)

My sympathy to the entire family. I was lucky to work with Lou in District Three for a short while in the late 1960s, and later with Rich on the Police Department. Both were wonderful and it was my pleasure to work with and know them. God bless your family.
What a wonderful tribute in the paper.

I know only too well the pain that your family feels right now, but we have to keep in mind that our loved ones are in a much better place. Now the two brothers can be together in heaven, probably having a beer or two.
