Megs was such a wonderful lady! So poised, always respectful, a delight to be around. I always felt like she was my second mom. I still miss her..

So sadly unfortunate to not have known of Megs passing before now. We shared many wonderful memories with each other so many times. It seems so unfair to have had her taken like she was without a word.

Megs Contadino was a long time friend of my mom. She always had an upbeat attitude and I do remember her telling me "don't postpone joy". :)

I think of "Megs" so often and miss her dearly. Last Sunday I met with the cast and crew of the St. John Passion Play, a ministry so near and dear to both Megs and John. I thought of her beautiful singing voice and sweet spirit. I especially remember her legendary pizzelles, crisp and lightly sugared, something to "tickle the tongue." A beautiful woman in every regard!
Love to Lisa, always.

Megs was a long time family friend. Her and John sang in same Church Choir as my parents. Megs loved showing off her large home and fixtures, and we loved the tour. She was old school elegance, with a down to earth personality. What a grand lady!

Megs quickly became a second mother to me. I met her and her beloved John through the St. John Passion Play and she brought me decades of joy and "Meg"isms! "Don't postpone joy" was something I took to heart. And she gently instructed me to say "My Jesus mercy . . . my God and my all" each and every day. Megs also adopted my family and we all looked forward to receiving something that would "tickle the tongue" from her during Christmas . . . her legendary pizzelles! She was an elegant, classy lady and I will miss her dearly!
