Sister Mary Clarissa, R.S.M. Sister of the Sisters of Mercy for 74 years. Daughter of the late Patrick and Eleanor (Glynn) Crowe. Sister of the late Mary Crowe Lewis, Marguerite Riley, John Crowe and Virginia Clark. Passed away Tuesday November 6, 2012. Age 92 years. Friends may call at McAuley Convent, 1768 Cedar Ave., College Hill, Monday 3-6 PM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 6:15 PM. Funeral procession will leave McAuley Convent on Tuesday at 9:30 AM for burial at St. Joseph (New) Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Sisters of Mercy Mission Advancement Dept., 101 Mercy Drive, Belmont, NC 28012-2898. Miller-Busse & Borgmann Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online guest book at www.busseborgmann.com

Sister Clarissa,
Welcome home! We had some wonderful nuns at Nativity, but you were always my favorite. Many thanks for all you did...and put up with. I fondly remember how you helped me ring the church bell at midnight on Friday night and drive Father Bartel crazy (or was that Jack Thier?)
