MATTHEW TANNER Obituary

TANNER

Matthew Coe Tanner, 42, of Lawrenceburg, IN, entered into rest on Friday, March 23, 2012. He was employed at Duke Energy, member of Local 1347 IBEW, and member of Hopeful Lutheran Church. He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Sharon Tanner; Natalie Tanner; children, Reese, Riley and Regan; brother and sister-in-law, Marc and Heather Tanner; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28 from 10 AM - 1 PM with services following at 1 PM at Hopeful Lutheran Church 6430 Hopeful Church Road Florence, KY 41042. Burial will be in Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hopeful Lutheran Church. Online condolences www.stithfuneralhomes.com

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Matt. We were close friends at Conner High School, and dated a few times after high school. Matt was a great guy, and a true gentelman. I will always remember his smile, and his laugh. He made everybody happy around him. My deepest sympathy and prayers goes to his family for their loss.

I have been on holiday in Vietnam for a month, so I apologize for the late entry. He had a way of making people laugh and smile. He was an asset to Conner marching band. Rest peacefully Matt.

I was sorry to hear about the sudden loss of Matthew and especially sorry for the loss to his family and friends. It is very difficult to understand why this has happened but for those who know the Lord, we will see him again. The "why" will no longer matter then.
