ERTEL
Nancy R. Ertel (nee Rivoira), beloved wife of the late Ned Ertel for 51 years. Devoted mother of Jeff Ertel (JJ) and Kevin Ertel (Susan). Loving grandmother of Jessica, Jillian, Andrew and McKenzie. Dear sister of David Rivoira(Catherine). During Nancy's professional career she worked at the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Departed on September 11, 2014 at the age of 75. Visitation will be held Monday, September 15th from 9:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 7754 Montgomery Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's honor to the Barrett Cancer Center, c/o Dr. William Barrett, 234 Goodman Street. Cincinnatiti, OH 45267. Condolences may be expressed at

I did not really know Nancy, but I had the pleasure of packing her up for her move to the season, and then unpacking and setting up her new apartment. She was a kind and funny woman, who I sincerely, enjoyed working. It was a pleasure serving her, and I am very sorry she lost her battle. My condolences to the family on this great loss.

I worked with Nancy for many years in the field of Relig. Educ. She was such a gift to all who met her; always ready to help anyone who asked. She will be missed. We all have a new saint in heaven. She is listening to your prayers and will help you out.
