Naomi Gardner Obituary
Naomi Andrews, age 89, of Mariemont, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 23, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Theodore H. Gardner. Loving mother of Melinda A. Gardner, Theodore A. (Juliann) Gardner , and Whitten A. (Barbara) Gardner and grandmother of Laura D., Grace L., Elizabeth A., and Katherine F. Gardner. Born in Portland, OR, Naomi was a graduate of Oregon State University and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Naomi was a longtime community volunteer. She served on the boards of the Contemporary Arts Center and the Cincinnati Ballet and was a sustaining member of the Junior League of Cincinnati. Naomi was integral to the success of the Shop for Pappagallo and Taxi, where she worked for 25 years. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Redeemer in Hyde Park. GrunnFuneralHome.com
