Naples -
NICHOLAS BERNARD ZIMMERMAN, 81 years of age, passed away suddenly in Naples, Florida. He is predeceased by his parents Bernard Morris Zimmerman and Susan Elizabeth (Seifert) Zimmerman, and his brothers Paul Zimmerman and Bernard "Benny" Zimmerman. Nick is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jean Ann Smith Zimmerman; his sisters, Carol Sue Schiedler and Krista (Robert) Berling. Lovingly remembered by his children Amy (Benjamin) Russert, Christopher (Christianne) Zimmerman and Mark (Jamie) Zimmerman; and grandchildren Victoria (Ryan) Murray, Elisabeth, Benjamin and Mary Sarah Russert, Haileigh, Nicholas and Madelyn Zimmerman, Luke, Ryan and Andrew Zimmerman. Lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky and 20 year resident of Naples, Florida and parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky and St. William Catholic Church, Naples, Florida. Nick graduated from St. Xavier High School, class of 1955, and University of Cincinnati College of Engineering, class of 1960. He served on the Board of the Boys Club of American and The 5/3 Bank. Nick was President of Schrudde & Zimmerman, Inc. Visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament, 2409 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky from 8:30am - 10:00am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am. Middendorf Funeral Home Ft. Wright, KY are handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, Memorials suggested to: St. Xavier High School, 600 W. My father was the bookkeeper for both Nick and his father for many years. He held both of them in very high regard. He spoke of them so often that I thought that I knew them well. I send my condolences from both my father and me.

My heart breaks for all of you. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Uncle Nick, like dad, was such a big influence in our younger years. The way they lived their lives dedicated to family, jobs, and others. The way they taught us to enjoy life in all aspects of it.
