Orpha SYKES Obituary
Orpha R (nee Elliott), of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away August 3, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Carl S. Sykes. Dear mother of the late Bob (Lora) Sykes, Phyllis (Tim Fleet) Sykes Tonne, Mary Lou (David) Fiedelman, and Sharon (Bill) Schaible and her two grandchildren Marci & B.J. Sykes whom she raised as her children. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Devoted sister of Lois Parker. She was a member at First Baptist Church, Greendale, IN and then Dearborn Hills Methodist, Bright, IN. AGE 93.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM in Brater Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St. Harrison. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday at 10 AM in the funeral home. www.braterfh.com
