I hope the family gets to read this. I came to see Dr. Cohen 3 years ago when I had lost the feeling in my right shoulder. Turns out I had cervical stenosis and that an operation was needed. Before Xmas that year, we went to surgery. I had been checked by my doc and given the ok. There was a problem. He stopped the surgery and proceeded to send me to his ENT who recommended to Dr. Cohen a different way to get into my throat. After Xmas, had the surgery and all's been well. I remember on one of my follow-up visits he had a broken nose, playing ball with one of the kids. Just an awesome man with great bedside manner. I will never forget him seeing there was an issue and stopping before he got to far into it.I'm working in Missouri and family is still in Cincinnati. When I came home one weekend, my wife shared the news. I cried. Great doctor, better man, and all accounts, a greater father and husband. WE will all miss him.

Dr. Paul Cohen was the BEST doctor that I have seen in my whole life. He worked on my father in law twice, my husband and me. He was compassionate, intelligent, gifted and kind. I think of him almost every day and thank God that he is the one who did my surgery. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who knew him, but especially his family

Dr. Cohen performed very difficult spinal surgery on my father in 2011. My father experienced such immediate pain relief that he cried in the recovery room and said that he "loved Dr. Cohen." Dr. Cohen was a miracle worker who always took the time to explain everything to the patient and his family. He was an amazing surgeon. He will be missed.

Dear Cohen Family,
I met you briefly as you ran out the door on this tragic day. I read the paper daily and was hoping that we would not see this terrible news and cried when it was published.
