CASSINELLI
Peter J., 88, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at home. Peter was a World War II Navy veteran and a prominent Cincinnati landscaper with the century old Cassinelli's Glendale Nursery. Peter was also an avid hunter. Loving husband of the late Nancy (nee Mayer), the late Annette (nee DeSalvo) and the late Billie (nee Franklin). Cherished father of Peter J. Cassinelli, Jr., (Debby), Andrea Groff (Jim), Roma Albers (Chris) and Patricia Renick (John). Stepfather of John Singer (Kandi), Joan Boothby (Mark), Jenny Hatcher (Walter) and Lynn Ballew. Grandfather of Ann, Peter, Liz, Mary, Laura, Nancy, Emily, Catherine, Grace, Tony, Tracy and Ryan as well as eight great grandchildren. Sister of Marguerite Buse (Leo). Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Road, (Rt. 42), West Chester on Tuesday, February 26, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pete's memory may be sent to Hospice of Cincinnati, c/o Bethesda Foundation, P.O. Sending many prayers and much love to all at this difficult time. Pete was always so nice and such fun to be around, I will never forget how he loved to show his latest catch off! I was lucky enough to have Pete come into my life through Jenny Singer Hatcher and Joanie Singer Boothby. Very happy memories years ago spending time at the house and some very nice dinners! He was a wonderful man with a huge zest for life. R.I.P. Pete and may god bless all and help to heal your hearts, he most certainly will be missed! Best of love, Carole Deel-Bennett

I have fond memories of Friday night sle epovers at the Cassinellis. Your Mom and Dad were always right there joining in. I know your Dad is in a very special place , because I have my own special angel right there by him.

Pete was a wonderful stepfather and I loved him dearly. He will be missed and I pray that the family lets God take care of them at this time.
