KLOSTERMAN . Ralph A., beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Rechtin) having celebrated 50 years of marriage February 20, 2004. Devoted father of seven, Geralyne (Tim) Hudson, Ralph (Julianne) Klosterman, Mary Carol (Bill) Harrison, Patricia Ann (Michael) Heister, Theodore Klosterman, Charles (Traci) Klosterman, Gregory (Gina) Klosterman. Proud and loving Grandpa to Tim (Traci), Tyler (Laina) and the late Tiffany Hudson; Ralph, Matthew, Andrew, Alex, Grant, Mitchell, Brian and Holly Klosterman; Patsy (fiancee Nate) and Bill Harrison, Colleen (Randy) Miles, Michael and Daniel Heister. Great-grandfather of three. Beloved brother of Dorothy Dumford, Margaret Williamson, Eleanor Schuetz, Dolores Wedig and the late Albert C. Klosterman, Emily Faulkner and Edith Fey. Mr. Klosterman was a successful auto body repairman who began his career at the age of eight as he worked for his eventual father-in-law, Ted Rechtin, in Price Hill. After graduating from Elder Hgh School in 1948, he served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon being honorably discharged he married Geraldine Rechtin. In 1963 he started his own business, Klosterman Auto Body, which he operated in Mt. Airy for 8 years. After a serious injury, he retired in 1971. A member of the Kolping Society. Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. at Pippin on Monday (December 27) from 5-8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. James Church (White Oak) on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. Memorials may be made to Green Twp.
