The world has lost one of the truly great storytellers at least of my lifetime. I have never laughed so hard nor enjoyed other tales more. The obituary was spot one re: her character. She was extremely special. Reunions won't be the same.
Lve to all her special family, Andy

I remember having to call Becky once when she was leading an outing with job club...I could barely hear her over the phone as she was leading a loud happy song on the bus they were traveling on during one of their many memorable trips....I could hear the fun and laugher over the phone and it made me smile, wishing to be there too. She brought so much laughter to others. Always quick to lend and ear, offer guidance and sound advice. And always...the red lipstick... RIP my friend. Sending prayers to all who loved her.

I have many fond and funny memories of dear becky as children in Jamestown. As an adult she was a wonderful example of a life well lived. So glad I could visit with her at the Beaty reunion this year. Peace, cousin dill

Condolences to the Schroeder Family. I have the most wonderful
memories of Becky and me as playmates and best buddies and two
very mischievous little girls in Jamestown, Tn. Becky had the biggest
and genuine compassion for others. A summer highlight for me was seeing
Becky and family at the Beaty Reunion. We easily picked right up where
we left off the year before. Reunions will never be the same. No one can
fill the void of Becky's absence. She meant the world to me, and to many
others.

Becky has touched so many lives. She made such an impact on me and helped me so much when my brother, Ken moved in with us in 1992. She made sure he got into Job Club to be a Party Animal. Ken loves her so much. I'm selfish, I wish she could have been a part of our lives for so much longer. Our prayers go out to her family.

Becky and I were friends at Fairfield High School and spent time in each others homes. We went out on week ends together to a "club" near Northgate Mall. Sorry that I can't remember the name of the club, but Bernie may as this is where they met. The young German boy and the outgoing American girl met ...and so the story goes. Becky and I lost touch during the time of our raising our children, but I did have the opportunity to see her during functions with the Board of MR/DD. She as a facilitator and me as a parent of a son with disabilities.
Please know that the Schroeder family will be in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.
