Brother of David (Carolyn) Bode and the late William Bode. Brother-in-law of Phyllis Bode. Passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at age 89. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Thursday 6-8 p.m. Funeral service at Christian Village at Mt. Well Pops, Mr Bode, always made me laugh when he called me Therese the creep. I loved his ratty Ohio state t-shirt when he cut the grass on Briarrose court. The Bode house was my second home where Holly and I cooked up neighborhood schemes, while Inky waited on the front porch for my return. Thanks for those great teasers, Mr. Bode.

Wendy - I will always remember fondly the Thanksgiving dinners and the other get togethers with Dick busy in the kitchen at Mitchell Farm. He was one of a kind.
