Richard McKENZIE Obituary
Richard K. (Dick) McKenzie, 83, born in Newport, KY, passed away on Wed., February 8th, 2017 at Bethesda Hospital in Florida. He was a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio until he moved to West Palm Beach, Florida following his retirement from the Cincinnati Recreation Commission. Richard is the beloved father of Richard P. McKenzie, Deborah (Clinton) Hess, Susan (Jon) McKenzie-Hess and the late Brian McKenzie (Kelly); grandfather of Nicholas McKenzie, Adam McKenzie, Tara (Nicholas) Trotta, Mitchell Hess, Kayla Hess, Megan Hess, Brady Hess, Lily McKenzie and Ella McKenzie; great-grandfather of Addison, Lily and Isaac Trotta; brother of Jim McKenzie, Doris Beeler, Pat (Chuck) Heinlein, Wauneta Fessler, Barbara Quesnell, Don (Judy) McKenzie, Bonnie McKenzie, Bill McKenzie, John McKenzie, and Gary (Susan) McKenzie; step-brother of Steve (Cathy) Crachiolo, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life memorial will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2017, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Moeller Banquet Hall, 2651 Bartels Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45244. The event will be casual in keeping with Dick's fun-loving and festive nature. Memorials can be made in loving memory of Richard K. McKenzie for research and treatment specific to Lewy Body Dementia. Donation checks made payable to Comprehensive Center for Brain Health should be mailed to Florida Atlantic University, c/o Dr. James Galvin, 777 Glades Road, ME-604, Room 102M, Boca Raton, FL 33431.

I recall myself and two brothers going over the the mc kenzies many nights with my uncle rog after sporting activities us kids would run around mt. adams and the adults partied,thanks dick for being in my younger life

I miss my dad so much! Every day remembrances keep me going! There is not a second that goes by that I don't think about him. He has made such a positive impact on so many lives! Live on dad! Keep us close and safe.
