Robert W. Jr. "Rob", beloved son of Bob and Sandy (nee White) Buhrlage, loving brother of Andy (Melissa) Buhrlage, dear nephew of Joan (Sonny) Kuderer, Tom (Tanya) Buhrlage, Bob (Jodi) White, Judy (Bruce) Herren, Sandi Williams, Margie Buhrlage and the late Bill Buhrlage, Glenn Buhrlage, Peggy Gilliam, many cousins. He will be missed dearly by his family and many friends. Rob was a member of the Delhi Police Department for 13 years. Passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013. Age 36. Friends may call at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, 4619 Delhi Road, Sunday, September 22nd from 400 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be Monday, September 23rd, 10:00 AM at St. Dominic Church. Interment will take place at the Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Special Olympics Ohio, 3303 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43232. www.vittstermeranderson.com

Bob and Sandy your son was a close dear friend it sent me to the ground in tears the moment I found out. And being 36 and having played football like Rob and graduating Oak Hills and remaining great friends all these yrs it broke my heart I could not attend the layout or funeral due to my own failing health. I'm fighting for my own life and sorry I could not be there I loved Rob like a brother. He recently about 2 months or so ago before I became ill introduced me to you both at GNC. I'm glad we got to do that. I will always miss and cherish him! And god now has one of the best back in his graces!! God bless your family and Rob

Your family is in my prayers and I am saddened to hear of Rob's Death. I had the pleasure of working with Rob at Hamilton County Public works during the summers in College and played on a few softball teams with him over the years. He always had such a positive attitude and always had a smile on his face. Rob you will be deeply missed.

Dear Buhrlage family,
I just heard about Rob's death and am so sad that I was not with you yesterday and today. Rob was a wonderful young man. I remember when he was in Shakespeare Troupe at Delhi and came into class with a broken finger just weeks before the performance. He approached that challenge with the positive attitude he always exhibited. He came back to help other students with their Shakespeare Troupe performances and in the process served as a positive role model for the students with whom he worked. He was a great leader, friend and teacher. He was a young man who cared deeply about others. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you and Rob are in my thoughts and prayers. The world has lost a very special person.

Mr. and Mrs. Buhrlage,
We are so sorry to hear about Rob. We know Rob and you both from when Rob and Mr. Buhrlage coached my son (Michael Winter) during baseball (sevearl years ago). You guys were the best! We still to this day talk about how you were the best coaches ever. Your kindness and patience went a long way. After a year with a horrible/nasty coach my son was able once again to enjoy baseball because you your family. Your family is in our hearts.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Buhrlage & Family,
I am very sorry to hear about Rob's death. Rob was always good to me even though we grew apart through our childhood. He would always talk to me like we hung around every day even though we wouldn't see each other for months. Rob was well respected by everybody who knew him and I am a better person today for knowing him. I will continue to remember our times together and will continue to pray for the entire Burhlage family.

I am sorry for your loss. Rob and I dated during high school and then went our separate ways. As my brother went through the Delhi Explorers program I learned Rob was an officer. For that alone I am sure Rob grew into a fine man and will be dearly missed.

I'm sorry you lost your son. When I dispatched for the county, I always enjoyed sending him messages over the mobile data terminals. We'd always be talking about jogging!! I haven't gone on my walk yet tonight, but will pray the Holy Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet for his soul. I knew Rob about 2 month. We have met on daiting site. We had conversation very often. He wanted come to Ukraine to see me. We dealed to meet in skype on Saturday. I became worred on Friday because I didn't receive his message on my phone. So, I have read in Internet this terrible news. My heart is broken too. He was a very good guy with big and open heart. He told me a lot about parents and brother. I think we would be happy. But he have never seen Ukraine. I prayed about him I wanted that God protect him... I can't imagine that he left all us. I sent him a letter by post but he never received it. I know that he is on Haven and he is my guardian angel.

Rob was a dear brother to me and always protected me like I was his sister ever since we grew up next door to each other.
