Went to Simon Kenton with Bob! Had the opportunity to have lunch with him a couple of times a few years ago. Sure wish we had continued to keep those lunch appointments on a regular basis. He was such a great guy! He had a way to make you laugh! Will surely miss him.

I went to high school with Bob.He always sat in front of me because back then we sat in alphabetical order. He was always joking with and teasing me.It was good to reconnect with him through facebook recently and I admire his determination in fighting heart disease. Wish I had been able to see him re-enact his part in the Civil War. Blessings to his family near and far.

Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Even though I did not know him personally he was the face of the James Ramage Museum/Battery Hooper with his historical knowledge and enthusiasm. I saw him many times at the museum and at the annual NKY History Day decked out in his Civil War uniform with the framed picture of his Civil War ancestor that he had an unmistakable resemblance. He will be so missed but with us all in spirit at the Battery Hooper Days.

Lori, Emily and Olivia: I share your pain and sense of loss in Bob's passing. He was such a Godly man and spoke lovingly of you in our many conversations. While you received the majority of his love and kindness he touched so many other people in every day life and in the coming days you will meet many of those friends. I will be praying for God's blessing and comfort for you now and in the days ahead.
