Loving grandmother of Cynthia (Marty) Thompson, Julie (Dan) Gerke, Lora (Craig) Huber, John (Stephanie) Kelly, Christopher (Melissa) Kelly, Shannon (David) Richardson, Danielle Bennett, Michael J. Stidham, Kelly (Richard) Cullum, Kathy (Dan) Hartmann, Karen (Dave) Sander, Kris Ernst, Joe Gramann, Kendra (Bob) Roenker, Kevin (Kelly) Ernst and Kyle Ernst. Loving great grandmother of 40 and great great grandmother of 9. Dear sister of Vicky (William) Kennedy, Elmer (Nancy) Hennel and the late Gertrude (late Richard) Tucker. Passed away on December 31, 2011, age 87. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Thursday (Jan. 5) from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann Church, 2900 W. Galbraith Rd., on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Our Daily Bread, 1730 Race Street Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. Condolences may be expressed at www.frederickfh.com

Ruth was a dear friend of my late mother and myself. That friendship endured until my mother's death and has continued with me until now. I was privileged to know her and to care for her. I know that feeling was mutual. Ruth never seemed down even as she faught the battle that took her life. I have no doubt that Ruth has been carried by God into the fulness of his kingdom. I am sorry I cannot be present for Ruth's visitation and Funeral Mass. Family and friends, be assured of my prayers, not only for Ruth, but for you also. May Ruth rest in peace.

The best grandma anyone could have asked for.....A loving and caring person to have in your life...She had so much love to give and gave to everyone...Love and miss you Grandma we will never forget you!!!! Danielle,Jimmy,Austin,Brayden,Carson,Nathan and Baby Emma who will know all about her great grandma!!!!
