Sarah's sense of humor, sensibilities and intellect were a gift to us. I'm sorry we no longer have her with us. It is a true loss.

I met Ms. Wilkinson in 2002 as I began my matriculation through Walnut Hills High School. I had her for 7th grade history, and then later went on to have her in 9th grade for World History. If any teacher exemplified “tough love”, she did. I strives to be a better student, and got over my fear of public speaking thanks to Ms. Wilkinson. I admired her extreme organization, passion for teaching, and genuine care about her students. Following graduating from Walnut Hills, I moved to Georgia for college. She was so happy and proud of me. We kept in touch while I was away and when I returned for visits, I made sure to reach out to her. My most recent memory of Ms. Wilkinson is our meet up at Joseph Beth Bookstore in Hyde Park for lunch. I go there now because of her. She will be missed dearly.

I've known Sarah since she was 7. We road the bus together later we hung out in high school and then we briefly dated. In time Sarah became a part of my everyday life. We'd either meet at Starbucks or talk on the phone (especially during quarantine). I miss her. I love her. And I miss her some everyday.

Sarah was my piano student for many years. I say “piano student“, but, she was also my good friend, up to her last days. I never had a student who played more beautifully, and with such expression. When she graduated from high school, she gave her full recital in my living room, for many people. I will never forget that that day, as well as the many times we shared a meal together, through the years. She will be with me, always.

Sarah was part of my everyday life and her death stole many somethings from me. She was my closest friend and I love her still. When the sadness comes there isn't much I can do but acknowledge her importance in my life and then I try to remember all the good times we had....her laugh, smile, the way she listened to me and when needed, the good advice she gave me. To be sure, I'll always miss her as my life was better with her in it. God bless her. Carl Myers

During the time I knew Sarah she was always cheerful and walked fast with lots of energy early in the mornings and was a wonderful part of the morning dog walking pack at Stephan Field.
