I am so sorry to read of Stephen's passing - I send his family my deepest sympathies.
I met Stephen at the Harry Elkin school of Jewish studies when we were both in our teens. He was the sweetest fellow - he wrote when he was in Israel (and I remember he put his "aqua velva" cologne on the letters). In college, we ate together, went to a Star Trek convention together, and discussed information technology together. He introduced me to Wright's chicken farm (what a wonderful place) and I always think of him when I return there.
I believe I found him on Facebook quite a few years ago and he told me he had a lovely wife and family.
Again, my deepest sympathies to his wife, children, Mrs. Berger, Alisa, and the many people I am sure he touched throughout his life.
