My heartfelt condolences to Steve's family, loved ones, and friends. I am truly sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prays are with you. I have fond memories of Steve throughout our school years at Finneytown, into our adulthood, and very recently. Our life paths kept on crossing even raising our families. We did not live far apart and it was not uncommon for us to run into each other and chat. There were birthday parties, get togethers, and celebrations. I had the pleasure of meeting his family and spending time with them at their home. It was very clear how much he loved them and how much he loved the children and their children. He was a great father to them and grandfather. He was also a very good friend. He was a kind, understanding, and caring person. I cannot tell you how much I am going to miss seeing him around. He is someone who has been around for fifty years of my life and there will definitely be a void without him in this world. He was a great guy and I am blessed to have known him.

Many thoughts and prayers to the Frakes family. I got to know Steve in college and got to experience my first time ever to see the Ocean, in Ft Lauderdale Florida. I was like a little kid in a candy store and Happy go lucky Steve, laughed out loud at me when I saw the ocean. I worked with Steve at CVG. He always had a smile that lit up the room no matter what the circumstance. He was so charming and funny! I am going to miss him telling me I was his favorite Marine. Steve was a High School friend that I lost touch with as we got older. I'm glad to see by his friends, family and co-workers comments that he remained such a liked and respected person. You already know what kind of a man Steve was but it is always heartwarming to hear from folks who knew him outside the family. Steve was a coworker of mine. He had a positive attitude and saw humor even when things were hitting the fan. He touched many lives here at TSA and has left a hole in many hearts. He is missed but not forgotten and we know he will always be looking down on us with a smile on his face.
