My heartfelt condolences to Steve's family, loved ones, and friends. I am truly sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prays are with you. I have fond memories of Steve throughout our school years at Finneytown, into our adulthood, and very recently. Our life paths kept on crossing even raising our families. We did not live far apart and it was not uncommon for us to run into each other and chat. There were birthday parties, get togethers, and celebrations. I had the pleasure of meeting his family and spending time with them at their home. It was very clear how much he loved them and how much he loved the children and their children. He was a great father to them and grandfather. He was also a very good friend. He was a kind, understanding, and caring person. I cannot tell you how much I am going to miss seeing him around. He is someone who has been around for fifty years of my life and there will definitely be a void without him in this world. He was a great guy and I am blessed to have known him.

Many thoughts and prayers to the Frakes family. I got to know Steve in college and got to experience my first time ever to see the Ocean, in Ft Lauderdale Florida. I was like a little kid in a candy store and Happy go lucky Steve, laughed out loud at me when I saw the ocean. I had a great time with Steve and 3 other college buddies, a memory I will cherish for ever. Your little buddy, Darryl Gibbs

I worked with Steve at CVG. He always had a smile that lit up the room no matter what the circumstance. He was so charming and funny! I am going to miss him telling me I was his favorite Marine. It was an honor to help Andy fold your flag today. There will always be a special place in my heart for you Steve and when I think of you I will smile.

Steve was a High School friend that I lost touch with as we got older. I'm glad to see by his friends, family and co-workers comments that he remained such a liked and respected person. Luckily I ran into Steve the week before he passed at TCYO, so glad I got to see him again. Thoughts and prayers to those who will miss him.

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Steve had a huge personality and an even bigger heart! His smile, laughter and personality were infectious. We worked together at TSA for a few years before I moved on but we remained friends. RIP my friend. Heaven needed some smiles and laughter and you were the perfect choice. God has his reasons of which we will never know. My deepest sympathies!

To the family of Steve Frakes,
You already know what kind of a man Steve was but it is always heartwarming to hear from folks who knew him outside the family. Steve was a coworker of mine. He had a positive attitude and saw humor even when things were hitting the fan. He touched many lives here at TSA and has left a hole in many hearts. He is missed but not forgotten and we know he will always be looking down on us with a smile on his face.

Steve,
You were the most loving, sweetest, dearest, kindest, funniest, and the most genuine person with the biggest heart of anyone I know. I am so glad to have been in your circle of friends. I miss you already and I will never forget you or your smile. You were taken from all of us way too soon, but I am certain that you have already earned your wings here on earth and you will be watching over us from Heaven always! Rest In Peace my friend.
