Dear Stu,
You have been gone from me, from us one month ago today. Miss you more than you could ever know. You were the better part of me so now I must learn to go on with only our memories and know that you are only a memory away from me. Love you very much and even though we are separated by space, our spirits and hearts still are one. 'Til we can be together forever, sending you all my love.

I send you Susan and your family my condolences as well as prayers for your strenght. I have had the pleasure of meeting the Press/Knight family by being an employee at Mt. Healthy Christian Home. Susan and I would often talk about what was going on with with Mr. Stuart when he was on his mission trip I would like to call it. Susan expressed how much love he had for their children and her and that Stuart was definitley a KEEPER and a GOOD MAN. I made the joke that it was still hope for me to find a GOOD MAN. I know for sure MR. Stuart you are shining down from Heavens. I LOVE you SUSAN...

Stu, was a steady force. Anytime we asked him to do something he would always get it done. I will miss him in my office here at the Red Cross. He lived his life as a true servant to Him. Well done Stu, well done. Now don't be too bored in Heaven since there aren't any disasters.

I tried to sign the Guest Book yesterday, but couldn't. I wasn't ready. I'm not sure I'm ready now. Stu, you are priceless. All that you gave to others is beyond measure. All that you taught me, personally, I will never forget. I know that God holds you in His arms. I smile knowing you can relax now, as there are no fires in Heaven. Love you.

Stu was a great community volunteer for the Red Cross, QCEN and the Catholic Church among others. In each of these organizations, Stu was one of the people who did the hard work in the background that made the good works that these organizations do on a daily basis possible. Our community was a better place because of Stu and his hard work.

Uncle Stu you were one of the most selfless people I have ever known. You always put others first rather if it was a friend, family member, or even someone in need from the Red Cross. You will be missed more than you ever thought you could be.

I will miss the depth of knowledge, wisdom and experience Stu brought to everything he did especially with Red Cross. Anytime my husband had a question about the technology infrastructure in the Cincinnati Chapter I always told him if Stu did not know the answer, no one else probably did either. The few times I spent with Stu will never be forgotten. To his family - cherish the loving memories and always know he touched many lives in so many ways!

Stu was a great volunteer and a great all around person. Stu and I worked many of the same operations. We had conversations "in passing", meaning a few words here and there, sometimes it took a couple of days to finish a short conversation. He was always responsive to any questions or requests that I had. We in Red Cross all strive to help our fellow man in times of need and crisis. Stu, as part of the DST group, helped other Red Cross staff in our times of need and crisis. That was his way of supporting the effort. Stu will be missed, greatly by those that he worked with, and by all in general, in that our number has been diminished. Sympathies to Stu's family.
